Ulises Studio Turns a Baroque Courtyard into an Inflatable Clay Playground

For Milan Design Week 2026, Spanish architect Ricardo Orts of Ulises Studio filled the historic Palazzo del Senato with oversized inflatable forms rooted in the tactile logic of modeling clay — soft, brightly colored volumes that collapse the distance between playground, exhibition, and brand environment. The scenography shifts after dark through colored light, transforming baroque stone into something almost otherworldly. A rare case of branded commission that earns its space through genuine spatial invention. Source: Designboom
