Ashiesh Shah — the Mumbai-based architect, designer and artist — has built a practice on restraint and a deep commitment to India’s living craft traditions, working across residences, retail interiors and collectible objects. In 2022 he became the first Indian designer represented by The Invisible Collection, and his first UK solo show, Taamr, runs at Carpenters Workshop Gallery through 20 September 2026. ‘I hope the craft outlasts my name,’ he says of a vision built to carry India’s handmade heritage forward.
