London-based designer Donna Wilson turns knitted lambswool into playful home décor, from bolsters and floor cushions to throw pillows shaped like an oversized banana, a whale, or a toadstool. The soft objects are produced in small batches at her Scottish “micro-factory” — the Knit Shop — where vibrant flora and fauna give ordinary interiors a jolt of colour and personality. Wilson’s argument is simple: there’s no reason knitwear and home decor shouldn’t elicit joy.
