For London Design Festival, Isabel + Helen have opened Motion Sickness at The Conran Shop, marking a decade of the studio’s work. The show puts the shelves of models, maquettes and motion tests on display for the first time, shifting the focus from the finished kinetic sculptures to the lo-fi invention behind them. It is an argument, made in cardboard and motors, for the magic of building the real thing.
