For Spring/Summer 2027, Kunihiko Morinaga’s ANREALAGE treats clothing like an avatar skin that can shed and regenerate: second-skin bodysuits printed with pixelated trompe-l’œil garments give way to 3D-printed scales, and finally to dresses wrapped in up to 2,000 E Ink panels that shift colour and pattern while worn. Because e-paper reflects ambient light instead of glowing like LEDs, the changes read as a living surface rather than a screen. Shown at Paris Fashion Week in the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique.
