Chocolate branding usually sells abundance — silk, gooeyness, butterfat. Manta makes raw, plant-based bars without dairy, gluten or refined sugar, and Studio Tyrrell built the identity around that absence rather than papering over it. Founder Oliver Tyrrell describes being drawn to the “almost ascetic use of ingredients”, and the packaging holds the tension between that restraint and the pleasure the category is meant to promise.
