For Voluta, a Brazilian studio that restores mid-century furniture and curates handmade ceramics, designer Tiago Araujo built an identity out of the cobogó, the perforated breeze block of Brazilian modernist architecture. A geometric custom logotype, a modular pattern system derived from the blocks and a six-colour palette named after Brazilian design icons nod to Niemeyer without pastiche. Printed on uncoated, tactile stock, it feels as considered as the furniture it represents. Source: Abduzeedo
