Powerhouse Arts has gathered work by more than fifty artists — Kiki Smith among them — into an exhibition that borrows the myth of the Deluge and turns it on the present. The premise is a question rather than a warning: will we care for the future of the planet the way we care for the animals we love. Rising seas and melting ice caps make the biblical framing feel less like allegory than reportage.
