For more than two decades, Susan kae Grant has plumbed the mind’s eye — especially what it sees while we sleep — in shadow-puppet-like photographs where houses spin in windstorms and mysterious creatures lurk in the dark. In the early 1990s she began collaborating with a sleep-lab researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her forthcoming book ‘Night Journey’ (MW Editions) gathers this lifelong fascination with the realm of dreams.
