Ana Kraš: SVILA — Silk as Structural Concept at Emma Scully Gallery

For SVILA (the Serbo-Croatian word for silk), Ana Kraš worked with a UNESCO-protected woodcarving tradition to build furniture frames that cradle tensioned silk panels — each piece treating the fabric not as upholstery but as load-bearing skin.
