Bozeman-based artist John Buck renders expansive, dreamlike landscapes in pen and ink across wooden panels, populating them with anthropomorphized plants and dramatic rock pinnacles. In his exhibition “Mont Blanc on Wood,” familiar places — Zion Canyon, Louisiana swamps, Niagara Falls — tip into the uncanny, where things feel just slightly off.
