Made and the Barbican have translated the 1982 Chamberlin, Powell and Bon estate into 23 pieces of furniture, lighting, textiles and decorative objects. The source material is the estate’s recurring semi-circle motif — inverted arches found in podium window sills, penthouse roofs, fountains and stair towers — which reappears in the wooden side panels of the ‘Dual’ accent chairs, the ‘Plinth’ coffee table drawn from the sunken seating pods by the lake, and the ‘Curve’ lamps echoing the Concert Hall’s tubular acoustic panels. The collection goes on sale 17 August, with an installation at the Barbican during the London Design Festival from 12 to 20 September 2026.
