Amber Pjongluck’s practice is built around collecting and curating archives, and it almost always resolves into books — “a visual library with its own language and system,” as the designer puts it. That instinct traces back to childhood hours in a school library, where the fascination was less the books than the methodical system organising them. “Find The Earth,” a year-long thesis project for Parsons School of Design, is the result: a two-metre-long Risograph-printed book that gathers, sorts and reorients personal memories through the objects that carried them.
