Studio Dial: “We Treat Code as Material” — Generative Systems from Afghan Textiles to Cocktail Menus

Studio Dial is a young, female-led London studio working across branding and creative technology for clients including Google, Azra and Inner City Consulting. Founder Natalia Witwicka describes code as a material to be shaped and tested like paper and ink — the studio usually builds its generative tools first and lets everything else follow. For the restaurant Azra, research into Afghan cloud-band motifs produced a tool that keeps weaving new textile patterns; for Swift Bars, the curl of a citrus twist seeded a pattern system that gives every drink its own visual spin.
