Turkish-German designer and art director Alina Derya Yakaboylu works across book design, exhibition posters and visual identity from Augsburg and Munich, concentrating on cultural projects about growth, change, history and community. Her process is concept-led — long stretches of research and conversation about an institution’s identity, its surrounding place and its collective memory — before intuition and close observation take over. Each project is allowed to look unlike the last.
