Presented by the Luma Foundation as part of Elevation 1049, Gerhard Richter’s STRIP TOWER (962) rises over five meters in the Engadin landscape near Sils Maria, Switzerland. Eight perpendicular panels clad in glazed ceramic tiles carry vertically elongated color stripes — the result of a process where a single painted gesture is photographed, scanned, digitally sliced, and stretched. Visitors walk between the reflective surfaces as weather and light continuously recompose the work. On view until 2029. Source: Designboom
