Fondazione Dries Van Noten: Craftsmanship as Culture Inside a Venetian Gothic Palazzo

Fondazione Dries Van Noten opens April 25 inside Venice’s 15th-century Palazzo Pisani Moretta, positioning craftsmanship — material, bodily, imaginative — as the core of a new cultural platform on the Grand Canal. The inaugural exhibition “The Only True Protest Is Beauty” spans twenty rooms with over two hundred works across fashion, jewellery, collectible design, photography, ceramics, and glass, set against Tiepolo paintings and Rococo interiors. A dialogue between heritage and experiment, hierarchy dissolved. Source: Designboom
