Mexico City–based LANZA Atelier, led by Isabel Abascal and Alessandro Arienzo, has been selected to design the 2026 Serpentine Pavilion in London’s Kensington Gardens. Their design features sinuous, curving brick walls that create a series of intimate outdoor rooms — an exploration of how a single, ancient material can produce a contemporary sense of gathering and enclosure at architectural scale.
