Bringing together two of my favorite things, not unlike some of the Selflux drawings.
Toronto-based artist Giorgio Cecatto employs a pen plotter to create intricate geometric line drawings that bridge Russian Constructivism and contemporary algorithmic design — precision without the hand’s gestural dominance. Initially known for sculptural concrete works, Cecatto now uses the machine’s mechanized line work to produce dynamic geometric bursts that hover between engineering and illusion, structured yet visually kinetic.
