Using thousands of black LEGO bricks, Ghanaian-Canadian artist Ekow Nimako explores legends and folklore of the African diaspora — creating figurative embodiments of allegorical creatures and spiritual beings inspired by ceremonial masks, interstellar travel, machines, and geometric forms.
